The First Colombian Symposium on Astrochemistry (SICOAQ) combines astronomy, chemistry, physics and biology, with the aim of understanding the molecular complexity of the cosmos and thus paving the way for the exploration of our origins as a species.
SICOAQ will be held at the National Observatory, located in the Colombian capital, a city that is 2,600 metres closer to the stars and has a rich heritage and a vibrant cultural offering.
The agenda includes keynote lectures by leading experts, plenary sessions, and poster presentations. For those who attend in person, there will be the opportunity to participate in one of four specialised training courses designed to delve into the experimental, observational, theoretical, educational and outreach fields of astrochemistry.
