Established in 2019

The Europlanet Society Northern Europe Hub was established in 2019 to support the development of planetary science at a national and regional level, within the new Europlanet Society.

The activities of the Europlanet Society Southeastern Europe Hub are a natural follow up of the efforts that have been dedicated to the development of Planetary Science with funding from the European Union, starting in 2005 (under Framework 6) to the most recent Europlanet Research Infrastructure, funded by Horizon 2020.​ ​

Europlanet 2024 RI has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 871149.
Europlanet AISBL (Association Internationale Sans But Lucratif - 0800.634.634) is hosted by the Department of Planetary Atmospheres of the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (BIRA-IASB), Avenue Circulaire 3, B-1180 Brussels, Belgium.
