Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC)

The Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) is the major European meeting on planetary science.

EPSC2022 will take place at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Granada, Spain from 18-23 September 2022.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone in person this year at EPSC2022 in Granada.

The intention of the Europlanet Science Congress 2022 is to cover a broad area of science topics related to planetary science and planetary missions. EPSC will this year be jointly organized with the annual EANA (European Astrobiology Network Association) Conference 2022, and will therefore include a large number of sessions with an Astrobiology focus.

The programme of the congress will contain oral and poster sessions, as well as workshops and panel discussions and provide with ample opportunities for interaction between the participants. The meeting is planned as an in-person meeting, and no virtual participation is foreseen for the scientific sessions. However, considering the lessons learned from the last two virtual EPSC meetings and taking into account your feedback, we will be investigating how to bring at least some level of virtual components (e.g. session recording) into the EPSC2022 physical meeting.

Outreach and Education at EPSC2022

The Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) is an opportunity for sharing the latest developments in planetary science with communities hosting Europlanet’s annual meeting and around the world, as well as a platform for discussing tools, approaches, outcomes and innovations within the planetary outreach and education community.
