Outreach at EPSC 2020

EPSC 2020 has put together an active programme of outreach activities to share the fascination and inspiration of planetary science with people around the world and to build links with new communities.

EPSC 2020 Goes Live for Schools

For the first time, the Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) 2020 is opening its doors to schools and will give students a glimpse of how contemporary science is done.

Teachers and students are kindly invited to join us virtually with their classroom or educational institute  (suggested age range 12-18 years old or older).

Q&Α sessions will be broadcast live for students to question experts. Supporting workshops will be organised by both experienced and young researchers on planetary topics

EPSC 2020 Planetary Science Wiki Edit-a-thon

The Diversity Committee of the Europlanet Society, in collaboration with Women in Red and WikiDonne, are organising an Edit-a-thon during EPSC2020 to highlight diversity within the planetary science community.

We are compiling a list of notable planetary scientists who meet Wikipedia’s Notability criteria but are currently missing, with a special emphasis on women and under-represented groups.
