ERIM 2023 – Excursions and Social Events
Social Event
The ERIM Social Event will take place on Wednesday 21 June at the Parlament Restaurant, which has panoramic views of the Danube and Bratislava Castle (address: Nám. Alexandra Dubčeka 1, 812 80 Bratislava). Tickets are 30€ per person for a buffet (food only, cash bar for drinks). See the menu for the event.
Menu for ERIM 2023 Social Event
- Veal slices with caper mayonnaise, frisse salad
- Avocado tartare, tomato, microherbs (vegan)
- Marinated salmon, fennel salad with arugula. lime creme fraiche
- Selection of cheeses, nuts, grapes, honey (vegetarian)
- Goat cheese, beetroot salad with baby spinach and apples, nuts (vegetarian)
- Arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, parmesan
- Selection of cured meats and salami
Hot buffet – Hot Buffet
- Pork tenderloin in bacon, mushroom sauce
- Chicken supreme, zucchini risotto
- Butterfish, blanched vegetables in butter, herbs
- Mini cutlets (pork and chicken)
- Baked rosemary potatoes with garlic
- Steamed rice
- Slovak potato salad
- Marinated tofu in flax, bulgur with avocado, soy sauce (vegan)
- Penne Pomodoro, mozzarella, arugula (vegetarian)
- Pastries, wholegrain and gluten-free pastries (separately)
Dessert
- Créme Brulée with forest fruits, edible flowers
- Ricotta balls, pistachios, strawberries
Excursion to Comenius University Astronomical Observatory
A visit to the Comenius University Astronomical Observatory is planned for Thursday 22 June, after the ERIM sessions finish (coaches leave at 15:30 from in front of the Hotel Sorea and return at 19:00-19:30). Tickets are 10€ per person to cover the cost of the coach.

Visit to Electron Induced Fluroescence Laboratory
You can also visit the Comenius University Electron Induced Fluorescence Laboratory daily at 2pm (free, ~20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the Hotel Sorea to Comenius University Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics).
